Prodrome

Anyone out there know how long this prodrome period is going to last? The pain is nagging and the upper groin is dull. Very annoying

I will say that I have applied antifungal cream and I do feel less irritation and in showing a healthy penis. But the sharp pains are real, and so are the pelvic lymph nodes. I’ve searched the web for 2 days and nothing shows any other cause to this other then an STD. I have no positive outlook at this point.

Can anyone else confirm @WilsoInAus that prodrome pain I am feeling does not precede first outbreak?

No Wilson believes he is the only person on here who actually has herpes.  He thinks the rest of us are just making it up for a good time.

Wilso is correct.  Prodeomes are recurrent not initial infection.  Look up Dr. Hunter H Handsfield from MedMelp forums.  He has said the same thing many times.

Dude....you will be ok.  You are suffering from genitally focused anxiety and the internet is going to kill you if you let it.

@Muscha I’m at day 13 from potential exposure. I have no lesions to this point. I had slight irritation for a couple days back and I applied a Lotrimen cream that clear everything up pretty quick. I look to have healthy private. But the twitches and groin discomfort are really happening. I tested negative for everyThing at 3 days which for HSV is not accurate. But I did go on a antibiotic and just finished the script today. So anything else can be ruled out. Any opinion besides me freaking my self out? I can’t think of another reason as to why my lymph nodes in my groin are swollen.

This is highly immature.
Simply because you can’t accept that you test negative for HSV-2 and project your frustrations on me is no excuse to take it out on an individual who needs honest and truthful support.

think of others and don’t let your own insecurities attempt to damage others.

First your test provides a baseline.  It shows you were not infected.  It has no bearing on this incident but not trying to scare you.  Dr HHH also said two things.  First lesions take 2 to 20 days usually to develop with the average being 4 days from exposure.  Second, he said symtoms in the absence of lesions are not really suggestive of herpes. Each day that passes without lesions is another day in your favor.  Yoi are going to be ok.
