So today marked my 14 week exposure (oral). Ive been breaking out on my butt, legs, chest, calves, basically everywhere I have hair. Today I woke up to genital breakout in addition. Hoping it’s hsv1 and not 2. This outbreak has been nonstop now for 3 months. When will it stop?????!!!’

Fred...do you have any pictures because everything you have shown to date does not resemble herpes.

Go to your Dr if you will feel better about it but I think you will find you will get the same answer as everytime before.  No....its not.

You'll have to ask your Dr but obviously not the things you have been tested for. But it sounds like you are making that assessment.  Why?

If youre experiencing itching/burning in the groin, it could be a fungal infection, which can be damn near invisible, itches/burns, and can endure for months. Some are more prone to it, like myself. I deal with it often - summer/winter - makes no difference. I'm a regular at the local pharmacy. Buy stock in anti-fungal medication. I'll put your kids through college.

And Muscha speaks truth, doesn't look like herpes to me.

Hey I don't think you have herpes.  Maybe something else.  I would take antibiotics.  A strong dose of acyclovir or whatever works best.  It could be something bacterial like chlamedia or syphillus (sometimes a blood test gives a negative response so you don't think you have it) or a shingle type reaction that will clear up on its own.  I'm no experrt but you should look at all options and don't give up.

I ended up taking a 16 week IGG which was negative. Had a lesion swabbed on my penis that developed at the base where a lot of hair is. It was a culture the derm wouldn’t do PCR...that was negative for both bacteria and hsv1&2...the bacterial culture did say growth of skin flora but did not detect staph, strep, and a couple others...I’m thinking fungal?

Yes, and with all due respect to your doctor - and I'm certainly not a doctor myself - but have much experience with fungal infections of the man-bits, and it seems to be that benzoyl peroxide may in fact make it WORSE
