I often get tingling in my nostrils, not on my nose, followed by several mini scabs inside my nose a few days later.

This situation is very embarassing as the scabs fall off my nostrils constantly. Also, I am afraid of contaminating my 1 year old baby with the scabs and my nasal drips (as I can't control them) while picking him up from the crib and changing diapers. One other fear that I have is for the virus to go to my sinuses and brain.

I am on suppresive therapy with Valtrex 500 mg twice a day which is totally ineffective for me. I am also on Olive Leaf Extract, Elderberry and Omeprazole. I tried monolaurin and neem capsules for 3 weeks with no success. I watch my diet avoiding arginine rich foods.  I don't know what to do anymore.

I have a bit of control on my lip outbreaks but not on the nostrils ones.

I wonder if someone can help me reduce my non stop nostrils outbreaks.

I hear stress or maybe don’t hold your baby it could be dangerous

I hold him only for very short period of time to bring him to the high chair, changing table and when I have to pick him up. I can't even play with him hug him anymore. I am loosing the bound that he has with me.

Get a blood test to confirm. Don't trust a "visual diagnosis" .

Yes I can get a blood test, but I have genital symptoms like itching , burning, and nerve irritation as well. Also, Valtrex 2gm a day for 2days immediately stop my symptoms when caught on time. But few days after the same symptoms come back

You should try ozone olive oil on contact, there’s some that are more potent then others.

Try using the quantum health lip clear lysine on your nose, that has help me. Also there foods that are high in Argentine that you may not know, like oranges juice, watermelon, etc. do so research but avoid those foods. Manage your stress and Cartesian levels, Rhodiola , Eleuthera, and Ashwaganda. Vitamin c is crucial.
also if you can try to go to the sauna at least 4 times a week for 20 minutes a day. That will weaken the virus.
vitamin c is also crucial.

The lesions are not on my nose but inside my nostrils. Lately, I got a referral for a dermatologist , but due to the Covid-19 I am afraid to go to the clinic.

I get cold sores in nostrils as well And been having cold sores since childhood. At first i thought it was  Only dryness and it felt like it was inflamed, tingling and later it scabbed inside my nose. I usually get those once a year or maybe twice a year. On my lips i get OBs maybe 3x per year with very mild symptoms..

What do you do when having them in your nostrils?

Do you think it could be related to sun exposure at all? I’ve always had to wear zinc sun block on my nose and lips to prevent them from OB’s.

As I have frequent outbreaks inside my nose, my doctor recommend to put acyclovir ointment in my nose. Because of the coronavirus I have never done this.

Be mindful of the amount of arginine in the collagen you take.  Arginine is a known to cause outbreaks in some people.

Thank you Graph14, I didn´t know about this company. It seems intranasal vaccination is cheaper also. Anyway, what I was thinking about, was using existing meds like aciclovir or valaciclovir  but delivering them in a different way, due to the intranasal capacity of absorption. I have to read more about all this, but if anyone can shed some light it would be much appreciated
