How many times do we have to go through this? This only applies to people who have SWABBED POSITIVE.

You have not.

You do not have herpes. You have to grow up and face you life's issues instead of cowering behind psychosomatic symptoms.

It is time for you to go now, please have respect for people here who are actually dealing with herpes issues. There is nothing more you can extract from this site and your presence is a negative on others.

Really man? Do you think I feel like coming here and making up all this stuff? I'm just like everyone who's suffering with unknown symptoms that my doctors aren't able to figure out and are telling me it could be hsv or not...

Do you think I'm making up random itching, crawling, stinging insect type, burning sensation ? Why on the earth would I do that?

Despite my IGG negative testing something is still right. Sure I don't have typical sores like most folks but damn, I do have all the other symptoms of NEUROPATHY..

A gentleman here reached out and had the same thing a HSV caused a neuropathy in him, yet he hasn't had any sores, but same symptoms as me.

I just wanna know so I don't pass it on...but yea I'll just take the meds assuming i'm positive.

I came here to tell everyone that IGG is not a true and all be hold answer to anything...This is a tricky virus.

Yes @tweetsoc really, really.

Where did anyone say you are making this up? What we are saying is that "random itching, crawling, stinging insect type, burning sensation" is not related to herpes. Where does anyone say that it is? None of your symptoms are even related to neuropathy - what makes you think they are?

The person you claim reached out to you almost certainly does not have neuropathy and probably does not have genital HSV-2.

You haven't come here to tell us anything about IgG - as far as we know it is 100% accurate in being negative for you - so it presently IS 'true and all'. No one said on its own IgG is perfect, no need to tell us that, we told you that. But we also told you that the combination of swabbing and IgG testing IS a 'true and all' answer but that conveniently is forgotten in your desired story telling.

It isn't a 'tricky' virus at all and further, you wouldn't know. What is tricky is the situation of you having cheated on your partner and had your balls sucked by another woman such that now you feel like an idiot (and rightly so). You need to get through that. You need to tell your partner and/or forgive yourself and move on. She deserves that.

Coming to this website and indulging in fantasy that you have herpes is simply an avoidance tactic. You have no interest in an answer as that would mean you would have to confront your partner. Your partner certainly doesn't deserve that. What we don't get is what we did to deserve being subjected to the harmful misinformation that spews out in your posts of avoiding reality? Could you please go to Reddit - plenty of interesting people to indulge your fantasy over there.

You don't have herpes. The answer is in the mirror, but you're just not ready. I hope one day you are and I hope you can do the right thing by your partner.

I disagree with you, however I appreciate your viewpoint on hsv. I don't believe you really get how this virus operates. I mentioned that in rare situations, HSV can cause orchitis and ED, but you fail to acknowledge this. Would you like me to link to articles that discuss this as a possibility? It is possible.

I am one of the few people that experiences both after 9 days of exposure. There is no other explanation for the ongoing symptoms and causation of orchitis.

I've read a couple comments here from people who tested positive years later despite having a negative WB. I'm not trying to start an issue with you, but could you just refrain from making comments about me going nasty on my partner? Yes, I messed up, but I'm aware of it, and you don't have to lecture me about it.

I'm just speaking of data here, so please understand that not every case is as straightforward as a typical hsv (outbreak) followed by no symptoms.

I simply disagree with you on some aspects of hsv.

None of this changes the fact that:

  • you cheated on your partner and you can't cope with that; and
  • you do NOT have genital HSV.

Yes I do have to lecture about messing up because you are not dealing with it. You are creating a world of confusion from fake and/or obscure accounts of HSV in order to not deal with it. Whether you consider it nasty or not is exactly the point - this is the key thing that is wrong with you - when are you going to address - man up!

Who has tested years later despite a negative WB?

The first article is from 'The Sun' which is just a sensationalist rag.

The second article deals with a correlation between HSV-2 and cardiovascular issues that may cause ED. Did you actually read it? NONE of the participants experienced ED at the time of infection and 0.5% self reported EDS after 12 months. How does that fit with your 9 days.

Herpes infections do not cause orchitis, that's just a myth that is started and perpetuated by people on web forums. There is no medical evidence of this.

It doesn't matter if you agree or disagree with me on HSV. There is no subjectivity in the facts that I present.

Hang on @tweetsoc this is just self-indulgent self-delusion. What is super tricky about HSV? You're only saying that because of the super trick situation you are in having cheated on your partner, stop deflecting, how does that help anyone least of all yourself? You do not know you are going through an issue with HSV; it is pretty much certain you are not.

Thanks tweetsoc,  I haven't taken anything but ibuprofen. My doctor won't give me anything without the lab work. I get tested on the 17th and if negative again 4 weeks after that  I will look into prostatitis and definitely ask him about it. Best of luck to you. I hope you get some relief. Are your symptoms constant or do they come and go? It's strange how the brain works. Sometimes this drives me crazy and sometimes I have just got used to the feeling of hot sauce in my pants. good luck to you.
