just figured it out

I have gotten this itchyness and then a blister before but this time it clicked... omg this isn't an over acting flea bite... this is herpes...I looked it up and sure enough. It is only one small cluster of small blisters, and it itches like hell and hurts a bit, I ride horses so its a pain in the ass because it gets irritated... Now my question is Ive only slept with 2 people how doI figure out who gave it to me... I am currently sleeping with my bf of almost 2 years, who I dont think has the virus... or could he and just not know it? Is is possible he has it and the docter missed it? (he has been STD checked since we met as I was a virgin and he wasn't) However we broke up once for a month and I slept with another guy... I wasn't close and we didn't talk much, and yes I regret doing it but now I need to know was it him or my bf that gave it to me? Im worried that if my bf doesn't have it i will give it to him...

Another question... is it possible to conact the virus and not show signs for months?

And one last question... is it possible to be born with the virus and not show signs until older (I am currently 17)

Im so depressed and I cant stop crying...I dont want to be one of the ones... Ive always been on the outside of the statistacs... well now Im on the inside and I hurt so bad I dont know what to do... My only hope is that my BF isn't totally turned off of me by it... we love each other and have talked of being together forever... Im so scared... if you have advice post here or email windsongstables@hotmail.com

He could have it and not know it...

Or he could have had a cold-sore and given you oral sex and you got it...

hard to know... you might never know...

Is is possible he has it and the docter missed it?

Yes, that is possible... The normal 'std tests' don't detect herpes.

Another question... is it possible to conact the virus and not show signs for months?

Yes its possible... Normally you show signs within 2 days to a week or so... but its possible to not show signs for months...

And one last question... is it possible to be born with the virus and not show signs until older (I am currently 17)

Unlikely... I mean if your mom had an outbreak while she gave birth to you, you could have gotten it... But that is VERY unlikely... VERY unlikely. Other than that, if you did not have any sexual contact before you lost your virginity... no...

I dont want to be one of the ones

You are not 'one of the ones' You are one of the MILLIONS

There are more people who have herpes then do not have herpes. (if you include hsv1)

And knowing how easy hsv1 is to transfer to the genitals.... You are in the same position as MOST people in the world (considering most people have hsv1)

Its tought right now... you are young... but HSV is not a death sentence... And its not something that you cannot overcome. In fact... The only thing you have to overcome is your own feelings about it... Once you come to the realization that you can still have everything you want from life, you won't mind having hsv. That day will come. I promise.

fhl,

nik
