I've been doing a lot of reading up on herpes testing and all of what I read said testing should be done 3 to 4 months after Exposure to the virus.

However....

I recently read a website about a clinical study that said testing is accurate after Symptoms show up....

Does anyone know which is right??????

Is it after exposure or the onset of symptoms?

thanks
