I'm the guy who is concerned about the little tear in the skin in the groin region.

I woke up this morning and noticed something else...

Also in the crease between my leg and groin (on the same side of the little tear) there this patch of dry looking skin. It looks "cloudlike" in appearance and runs down the crease in my groin. I would say the crease feels mildly irritated and maybe a little red.

I'm going to see a doc today about it.

Does this sound like Herpes or a fungal infection? Does Herpes give of dry skin like this and in that region?
